Kazakhstan guest
|
|
I had a guest from Kazakhstan - Daniil a very quiet guy who speaks little English. Communicating with him was a bit of a problem but somehow we manage. He is good in It and electrical, and he managed to fix the water heater which has been out of use for more than 2 years 
Now I realised CS is not about meeting/getting to know people but it also helps in many kinds of ways

Its fun talking to them both and listening to their travel stories.

Too busy

I've been busy last few months and now a bit relaxed to update my FP. By the way during the few months I didn't update this page there's 2 additions to the family, now I have another grand-daughter (Zara Reza) and grandson (Zarif Reza).

Back to KL
|

Back to KL. I really enjoyed my stay in penang, visited the Penang museum, Universiti Sains Museum, few temples and Galeri P.Ramlee. Managed to see the back-stage of the Chinese opera - thanks to Anghuah.
Staying with Mr&Mrs Chong's was a real CS experience - will surely couch again, thanks a lot.

Penang

Hari ni pergi Penang - kali terakhir ke sana tahun 2000 - banyak perubahan yang ketara antaranya kebersihan, semua jalan dan lorong bersih - pujian harus diberi kepada penduduk Penang, syabas!!
Sempat melawat keliling bandar - malam ikut teman CS keliling pulau.

Taking a break

Conrad left yesterday and Juanita and Arnaud left this morning. Taking a break from hosting for few days (I'm off to Penang tomorrow and back on Sunday). Looks like my house will be quiet without me and guests (maybe its good sometimes).

Here's my family ... 7 children - 6 sons, a daughter, 2 daughter-in-laws and 2 grand-children (grand-son not in pic).
We don't live under the same roof though - but we do meet when there's festivals or gather at weekends.

CS Gathering

Its CS gathering again - but this time I didn't post it in the forum - invitation merely by sms/e-mails. Party went well with more than 20 in attendance. Food were aplenty and its fun to see everybody enjoying themselves talking/get to know each other apart from listening to stories and adventures of fellow CS. Gathering ended past midnight.
